Some Thoughts and Records of My Trip

June 13, 2008

It's hard for me to comprehend all that has happened this week! God has changed my life in so many ways. I have been so blessed to get to know so many people such as Suzette, Katy, Lyndee, and Josh. Their obedience and faithfulness serves as a huge encouragement for me when I had lost a lot of my passion for Christ. I loved getting to meet all the children at Kid's Club. I pray that God will work in their lives this week, especially the life of Sheadian, my buddy! Also, getting to paint Mr. Kittles' house was such a blessing. His story is such an encouragement for me since he went from a guy in a coma to a person who is going to become a college English professor. It has been incredible to see the way that God has been working and continues to work in Bayou La Batre, AL. I am so excited for the things that God has in store for my life and the lives of my friends. It is amazing to know that God planned this week before I was born! Each of the people that God specifically placed in my life has been mystifying, and the work of the Holy Spirit has been beyond my imagination. I loved how God set me up to play cards and share my life with Willie in the nursing home! Words really can't come close to explaining all that God did in my life this week! I am speechless!
